& the best way to describe the process was nerve-racking!

I love the stylist I go to. Ive been with her for YEARS! She helped my hair get back to its health stage years ago when perms tore about my hair. Now I just go to her for my regular trims but I feel like since I’ve decided to stop wearing my hair pressed(unless I’m getting a trim) every time I go to get a trim I go from pass my collar bone to right on top of my shoulders length! It frustrates me to no end!

I looked at about five different YouTube videos on trimming and decided today to start doing my own trims. When I was sure I got enough info I got to cutting.

The only thing that reassured me that I must be doing something right was as I took little snips of my spilt ends my hair sprung to a wonder curl! I finished in about 45mins.

I had to leave for work so I didn’t have enough time to style so I just did an oil rinse with a bit of leave in and put my hair in a bun.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that my DIY trim didn’t do more harm than good. I’ll continue to give it a try for three months and see!
